Visitor Check-In
Here at Woodview, we are very fortunate to have involved families who often come in during the school day to help out in classrooms and have lunch with their children. We want to maintain that welcoming environment, but we also want to keep our students and staff safe. This is a reminder to please make sure that you have signed in at the office when you come to school, and please make sure you are wearing a visitor's badge any time you are on school grounds during school hours so that students and staff know you have checked in. This helps us to keep our school, students, and staff safe while making sure our families feel welcome here. Thanks for your understanding and help with this.

Classroom Wishlists
Do you have items just waiting to be donated? If so, we may have found someone who can use them.  We recently asked our teachers what items they could use in their classrooms and many of the items we have in our homes, yet no longer have a use for them. Please see the following link for details on needed items.   wishliststuff letter

Pick-Up and Drop-Off of Students
This is just a reminder that our pick-up and drop-off area for students is the curb in front of school. Many families have been dropping off or picking up their children in the parking lot, and this creates a potentially dangerous situation as students are running to and from the school amidst busy traffic. For the safety of all our students, please make sure that pick-up and drop-off are occurring at the curb in front of school. For more information, please reference pages 22-23 in the Woodview Student and Family Handbook. Thank you for your attention to this.

Appropriate Dress for Cold Weather
As temperatures drop, please make sure that your child is appropriately dressed for playing outside at recess. This includes a warm jacket, hat, and gloves or mittens, as well as snow pants and boots when we start getting snow. Students are not allowed to stay inside if it is not indoor recess, so they should plan for outdoor fun at recess and dress accordingly. Also, if a child is healthy enough to be at school, they are healthy enough to be outside at recess. Please do not send notes saying that your child needs to stay in at recess, as we do not have the supervision necessary to watch students both inside and outside. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our main office. Thank you for your help with this.  -
